How does Hardware-Bound Licensing work?+
When you onboard a hotel node, HotelPulse autogenerates a RouterOS script. When run on your MikroTik router, it hashes the router board's unique serial, CPU identifiers, and MAC addresses. This hash acts as a cryptographic signature. If someone duplicates the config on another router, the authentication checks fail and block access immediately.
Can HotelPulse work behind CGNAT/Private IPs?+
Yes, absolutely! Since routers inside hotels are usually placed behind CGNAT without static public IPs, we establish a secure client-initiated connection (using WebSockets over SSL) to our central cloud nodes. The cloud dashboard sends command packages down this active pipe, allowing zero-port-forwarding remote setups.
How are customer browsing logs compliant?+
We index search metadata (like IP, MAC, Domain, and Guest ID) in a secure PostgreSQL server, while saving full log records inside compressed flat files on disk. This meets national audit logging compliance standards (like DOT/TRAI regulations) requiring at least 1 year of logging archival.
What is the minimum subscription commit?+
